Biking Around Vancouver | Part III

Vancouver Canada

we read that the best way to see the city was via a bicycle! so we went to english bay bike rentals on davie street and rented two bikes for the day ($48 total for bikes and helmets. not bad, right?).

vancouver is a great city for cyclists since they have so many bike paths! too bad we only lasted 4 hours! we started in english bay

  • circled around stanley park (along the seawall).
  • road past false creek
  • through granville island
  • to kitsilano park
  • then over the burrard street bridge (this one almost killed me)

Vancouver Tourism | Part II

we heard we had to visit grouse mountain (the peak of vancouver) and capilano bridge! we booked our tickets through tourism vancouver for a little bit of a discount.

  • grouse ultimate experience – $49.95 per person includes a free shuttle to grouse mountain, the skyride and eye of the wind (view of vancouver from top of a wind turbine).
  • capilano suspension bridge park – $$31.95 per person includes a shuttle and automatic entrance to see the capilano suspension bridge and cliffwalk!

Strolling Through Vancouver | Part I

Vancouver, Canada

we heard so much about you, tim horton. we thought we’d try you out before our walk around the city.

Vancouver, Canada

we were staying in yaletown and decided to see how much of vancouver we could walk. our stroll started in sunset beach then:

  • along english bay and second beach
  • through stanley park
  • around lost lagoon
  • finally to canada place

pretty sure we walked over 20,000 steps that day. our feet hurt and we were exhausted by the end of it but it was worth it. the city is gorgeous!

we hung out at east is east with chelsey since this is one of her favorite places. we were stuffed after our chinese food gluten fest at the peaceful restaurant. so we came here to just have some chai tea.

cute place. earthy, comfortable decor. extensive chai menu.
